Introducing SSPA Jr.
Designed for students entering first or second grade, SSPA Jr. is a joyful introduction to the world of musical theater where imagination, creativity, and collaboration take center stage. Young performers will sing, dance, and act their way through a carefully guided program that builds confidence and foundational performance skills in a nurturing, age-appropriate environment. Each two-week session culminates in a lively musical theater revue featuring songs from beloved Disney movies and musicals, giving students a chance to shine on stage and celebrate their hard work.
SSPA Jr. runs from 8:30am–1:00pm with an optional Extended Arts program from 1:00pm–4:00pm where the focus will be on arts, crafts, and creative play. Participation in Extended Arts is entirely optional, and students will not miss any rehearsal or performance time if they do not attend. While SSPA Jr. operates as its own distinct program on campus, it is a perfect fit for families with older siblings already enrolled at SSPA—creating a shared summer theater experience for the whole family.

The Summer School for the Performing Arts offers financial packages for families with need. A limited amount of need based financial aid is available. The total number of registrants will determine the number of scholarships awarded. Please complete the scholarship application linked below and send it in with your deposit.
